While three fatalities were reported from Khordha district, one was reported from Angul district, the dashboard mentioned. With new fatalities, the number of total deaths of the two districts rose to 1,558 and 398, respectively.
Meanwhile, the Health and Family Welfare Department noted that the reported four deaths didn’t occur on a single day.
“This list does not reflect deaths occurring on a particular day. It gives details of past deaths for which the death audit process has been duly completed and the cause of death has been identified as due to Covid-19,” noted the department.
Details of deaths are:
- An 83-year-ld Male of Balasore District.
- An 83-year-old Male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & Psychiatry Disorder.
- A 49-year-ld Female of Bhubaneswar.
- A 75-year-old Male of Khordha District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
