Senior BJP leader and Chairman of Indian Tourism Development Corporation Ltd (ITDC), Sambit Patra inaugurated the conclave at a hotel in the State Capital.
Speaking on the occasion, Patra said that the conclave will boost rural tourism in the country.
The ITDC Chairman highlighted the rich cultural heritage of Odisha and several potential tourist places in the State. He spoke about the artistic beauty of Lord Jagannath Temple in Puri, Sun Temple in Koanark and Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar. He talked about Satkosia, Bhitarkanika, Daringbadi, Hirakud and the long coastline of the Bay of Bengal.
He added that Narendra Modi government has taken many steps to improve the tourism across the country.

President of Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) Pushpendra Pal Khanna, Argus News Editor-in-Chief Sanjaya Jena, CEO Prakash Sahu, leading tour operators were present on the occasion.
