In a tweet, the Health Department said, “Regret to inform the demise of nineteen numbers of Covid positive patients while under treatment in hospitals.”
The details of the deceased persons are as follows:
- A 53 years old male of Angul district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & Pulmonary veno-occlusive disease.
- A 37 years old male of Angul district.
- A 53 years old female of Angul district who was also suffering from Idiopathic Generalised Epilepsy.
- A 36 years old male of Balasore district.
- A 42 years old male of Baragarh district.
- A 75 years old male of Bhubaneswar.
- A 50 years old female of Bolangir district who was also suffering Hypertension.
- A 65 years old male of Boudh district.
- A 29 years old male of Ganjam district.
- A 35 years old male of Jagatsinghpur district.
- A 54 years old male of Kandhamal district.
- A 45 years old female of Malkangiri district.
- A 35 years old male of Nuapada district.
- A 91 years old male of Puri district who was also suffering from Hypertension & Parkinsons Diseases.
- A 52 years old male of Puri district.
- A 75 years old male of Rayagada district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
- A 47 years old male of Sambalpur district.
- A 58 years old male of Sundargarh district.
- A 51 years old female of Sundargarh district.
With this, the total death toll due to Covid-19 in Odisha increased to 2,251.
Today, Odisha reported 10,649 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total number of Coronavirus cases of the State to 5,76,297, according to latest data of the Health Department.
