The tourist aged around 13-years had undergone Covid-19 test, which had been made mandatory recently for tourists belonging to a number of States, along with her parents upon arrival at the Railway Station.
While, the minor’s antigen test report came positive, swabs of her parents found negative in RT-PCR test.
“The minor patient has been admitted to Puri IDH Covid Hospital for treatment and she is in isolation,” CDMO Sujata Mishra informed.
Notably, at least eight staffs of a shoe stand located in front of the Srimandir Snghadwar have also been found positive for Covid-19 which could push the administration to take more stringent measures to check the spread of Corona in and around the shrine.
