According to the data furnished by the department in its Twitter account, the highest 20 patients recovered in Sundargarh district, followed by 18 in Cuttack, 15 in Khordha, nine in Koraput, eight in Mayurbhanj, seven in Kalahandi, six in Jharsuguda, five each in Angul and Jajpur, four each in Bolangir, Jagatsinghpur and Sambalpur, three in Kendrapara, two each in Baleswar, Ganjam, Nuapada and Rayagada and one each recovered in Bargarh and Gajapati district.
Besides, three recoveries were reported from the State Pool.
Notably, the State did not witness any death due to Covid 19 infection during the last 24 hours and, thus, the number of Covid stood at 1,921 as before.
However, the State’s Covid positive tally rose to 3,41,311 after 394 new positive cases were detected in the last 24 hours. Out of 394 new cases, 231 were detected from among quarantined persons and 163 detected as local contacts.
