Youth Shot Dead In Ganjam's Kabisuryanagar

Berhampur, July 10: A youth was allegedly shot dead by unidentified miscreants at Kabisuryanagar in Odisha's Ganjam district on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Trinath Mallick, a resident of Nai Sahi in Kabisuryanagar.

As per reports, the incident took place this afternoon when Trinath was sitting on a cemented platform near Jateswar pond in the town.

Miscreants reportedly fired at least two rounds of bullets at Trinath that hit his chest and head. Trinath reportedly died on the spot.

The reason for the murder was not known when the report was filed.

After getting information, Kabisuryanagar police reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident.
