Visit Schedule Out: PM Modi To Arrive In Bhubaneswar At 10.50 AM Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar, Sept 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive at 10.50 am at the Biju Patnaik International Airport here, Tuesday.

September 17 is going to be a memorable one for Odisha as the state government's flagship scheme -- Subhadra Yojana -- will be launched by PM Modi. And what makes the day more special...it is PM Mod's 74th birthday.

According to the schedule, PM Modi will arrive at the City airport at 10.50 am. Straight from the airport, he will visit Gadakana, where he will hold a discussion with the benificiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). 

After a 30-minute discussion, he will head straight to Janata Maidan at around 11.45 am as he is scheduled to arrive at Janata Maidan at 12 pm.

PM Modi will launch multiple projects, including the state government's flagship scheme 'Subhadra Yojana', at the Janata Maidan.

Notably, the eligible benificiaries of Subhadra Yojana, who have registered their names by September 15, will get their first instalment of the scheme Tuesday (Sept 17).

According to sources, thousands of women are expected to attend the event. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi along with his Cabinet colleages have visited the venue and reviewed the security arrangements. 

About 70,000 women are expected to attend the grand event. After the scheme is launched by PM Modi, in the presence of the CM Majhi and other Ministers and leaders, women will get first Subhadra instalment of Rs 5,000. 

Besides Subhadra Yojana, PM Modi will launch a Railway Project worth Rs 2,800 crore and a National Highway Project worth Rs 1,000 crore. He will also lay the foundation stone for the Sports Valley.

According to reports, PM Modi will also initiate the first instalment of PMAY-Gramin for 10 lakh benificiaries. He will also flag off the entries to 26 lakh benificiaries into their PMAY-Gramin and PMAY-Urban homes. 

PM Modi is scheduled to stay at Janata Maidan for around an hour and 20 minutes. Then he will head back to the airport and will return to Delhi.

Security in Bhubaneswar has been beefed up by the police for PM Modi's one-day visit. 

As many as 11 officers of DCP rank, 22 Additional DCPs, 66 ACPs, 100 IICs, 300 other senior police officers will be deployed. The security personnel will include a large number of women staff as thousands of women will attend the event. 

Besides, ODRAF teams, two companies of CRPF, police in civil dress, dog squads will be put into service. The entire movement corridor from Airport to Janata Maidan and the event venue have been declared 'no drone zone/no flying zone' for safety propoes.
