Two Die Of Diarrhoea In Nuapada Village

Nuapada, Sep 25: At least two people died, and three others fell sick seriously due to an outbreak of diarrhoea in a village in Odisha’s Nuapada district, officials said on Wednesday.

As per reports, diarrhoea broke out at Bada Darlipada village under Sinapali block in Nuapada district in the last few days.

Of the three people who are ill, two are undergoing treatment at Sinapali Hosiptal and one has been admitted to the District Headquarters Hospital here.

A medical team from Sinapali visited the Bada Darlipada village today to provide treatment to the affected people.

Consumption of water from wells during the rainy days was suspected to be the cause of the outbreak of the water-borne disease in the village, a health official said.
