Odisha Parba 2024 To Kick Off In New Delhi Tomorrow

New Delhi/Bhubaneswar, Nov 21: In a bid to promote Odisha’s rich culture and traditions, the Odisha Parba 2024, organized By Odia Samaj, is set to kick off at the iconic Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi on November 22. The three-day long cultural event will continue till November 24.

President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan are scheduled to attend the Odisha Parba 2024. Prominent historians, intellectuals, writers and artists from Odisha will also attend the event.

The Odisha Parba 2024 will showcase colorful cultural programmes as well as display the vibrant social, cultural and political values ​​of the Odisha and reflect the Odia Asmita(Odia Pride). The festival will also showcase Odisha's rich art and culture in handicrafts, dance and music from different corners of Odisha.

The second edition of Odisha Conclave will be the main attraction of this grand event, which will be attended by eminent writers, experts and other eminent personalities. The purpose of organizing this conclave is how to create a long-term atmosphere for the preservation of Odia Asmita Odisha art and culture, the organisers said..

This year, the Odisha Parba in collaboration with National Book Trust (NBT) aims to celebrate the rich heritage of Odisha language and literature and invite Odia writers and publishers to participate in this programme and showcase their books on the national stage.

As many as 45 Odia food stalls, 25 handicraft and art product stalls will showcase the culture of the State. Thousands of people are expected to participate directly and indirectly in this festival, the organisers said.
