Safety Of Pravasi Odias Priority Of My Govt: Odisha CM Majhi In Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 4: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi Monday said his government prioritises the safety of Pravasi Odias, while informing the media about action taken in the alleged rape incident of an Odia girl in Delhi last month. 

The Chief Minister told the media that three persons have been arrested in connection with the rape incident. An auto-rickshaw used for committing the crime has also been seized, he said. 

"My government prioritises the safety of Odia people staying outside the State," the Chief Minister asserted.  
Regarding the rape incident, he further informed that the Delhi police have been urged to conduct more investigations into the incident. 

Notably, an Odia girl had on October 11 alleged that she was sexually assaulted in the national capital.
