President Murmu To Visit Puri On October 24

Puri, Oct 16: President Droupadi Murmu will arrive in Puri on a one-day visit October 24, officials said.

President Murmu is scheduled to arrive in Puri in a special helicopter of Indian Air Force. The helicopter is reportedly land on October 24 morning at Talabania Helipad in Puri.

After arrival, she will visit Srimandir and take blessing of the Holy Trinity -- Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra.

President Murmu is scheduled to attend the Hiraka Jayanti celebrations at Gopabandhu Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya from around 12.10 pm to 1 pm. 

Later, she will take rest at Puri Raj Bhavan. She will then head to Bhubaneswar from the Talabania Helipad in the special helicopter.

Puri District Administration is living no stone unturned to make President Murmu's visit peaceful and successful. Puri District Collector Siddharth Shankar Swain has chaired a meeting with departmental heads over the preparations for the President visit.
