Puri, Mar 25: On the auspicious occasion of Dola Purnima, Union Minister of Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan along with his wife Mridula Thakur visited Puri to pay Obeisance To Lord Jagannath ahead of Lok Sabha elections 2024.
Yesterday a list of 18 candidates of 21 Lok Sabha seats in Odisha was declared, and Pradhan has been named the BJP candidate from the Sambalpur seat.
BJP's Puri Lok Sabha candidate Sambit Patra accompanied Pradhan during his visit to the holy city.
Patra has been named the BJP candidate from the Puri seat.
The Union Minister received a grand welcome from the party members and the servitors at Srimandir.
State BJP's district president Ashreet Pattnaik, Surat Biswal, and Upasana Mohapatra also went to Srimandir with Pradhan to seek blessings of the Holy Trinity.
