Odisha CM Meets Former AP Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan In Hopsital, Prays For Speedy Recovery

Bhubaneswar, Sep 18: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has met former Andhra Pradesh & Chhattisgarh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan, who is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar.

During the meeting, CM Majhi inquired about his health and well-being and also extended wishes for his speedy recovery.

In a post on X, CM Mohan Charan Majhi shared a picture of his meeting with Harichandan and wrote, "I visited a senior BJP leader and former Governor of Chhattisgarh, Shri Vishwabhushan Harichandan, who is being treated at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar."

"I inquired about his health and well-being. I am praying for his speedy recovery at the feet of Lord Jagannath" read his post on X. 

The Chief Minister also spoke to the doctors about his health condition and advised them to focus on his speedy recovery, the statement said.

Harichandan’s son and State’s Law Minister Prithiviraj was also present during this meeting.

Meanwhile, the leader of the opposition and BJD president Naveen Patnaik too spoke to Prithiviraj over the phone and inquired about the health condition of his father.

Biswabhusan Harichandan has served as the Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh from July 2019 to July 2024.
