Odisha Assembly Winter Session Day 2: Important Questions Likely To Be Discussed

Bhubaneswar, Nov 27: The ongoing winter session of the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly will meet for the second day today. The House is likely to discuss important issues. 

According to the schedule, questions concerning various departments like Higher Education, Revenue & Disaster Development Department, and Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Department are likely to be discussed in the House. 

The House was stalled a few times on the first day as Opposition BJD and Congress members created a ruckus over the Kandhamal mango kernel issue. On the day, Chief Minister Mohan Charan presented a Supplementary Budget of Rs 12,156 crore in the House. 

The Winter Session Started on November 26 and will run till December 31, according to the schedule.
