Mohana (Gajapati), Nov 17: In a tragic incident, a vehicle carrying a family for a picnic trip met with an accident leaving one dead and 11 injured.

The picnic trip turned fatal for the family when the vehicle, reportedly a Tavera, met with an accident on Kendu Ghati in Mohana, Gajapati district.

As per the report, the driver lost control of the vehicle and as it lost its balance which resulted in the accident. The deceased has been identified as Sarojini Behera, a native of Chahali Village in Nayagarh district.

The Mohana Fire Brigade rescued the injured and sent two of them to MKCG Medical College And Hospital in Berhampur. The two have reportedly suffered critical injuries.

Mohana Police arrived at the scene after getting the information and launched an investigation.
