Elections 2024: BJD Announces Names Of Six More Lok Sabha Candidates

Bhubaneswar, Mar 27: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday declared the second list of six candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The second list of candidates announced by the BJD for the six Lok Sabha seats in the State is as follows:

  1. Puri: Arup Patnaik
  2. Dhenkanal: Abinash Samal
  3. Jagatsinghpur: Rajashree Mallik
  4. Kandhamal: Achyuta Samanta
  5. Cuttack: Santrupt Mishra
  6. Jajpur: Sarmistha Sethi

Earlier in the day, Patnaik announced the first list of party candidates for the nine Lok Sabha seats and 72 Assembly constituencies.

Odisha has 21 Lok Sabha seats and 147 Assembly constituencies.

 Lok Sabha and Odisha Assembly elections will be held simultaneously in four phases May 13, 20, 25 and June 1.
