Dhenkanal: Youth Loses Leg In Train Mishap

Dhenkanal, Oct 3: In a tragic mishap, a youth lost his leg in a train accident occurred near Mahupal village under Kamakhyanagar police station limits on the Angul-Sukinda Railway line, on Thursday.

The victim has been identified as Vivek Pradhan of Mahupal village.

According to the information, Vivek was crossing the Angul-Sukinda railway to attend the nature's call and was hit by a speeding train. As a result, Vivek leg got amputated.

On being informed, family members reached the spot and immediately taken him to the Kamakhyanagar health centre and later shifted to dhenkanal district headquarters hospital.
