Cuttack: National Law University Faculty Found Dead At Her Residence

Cuttack, Sept 9: In a disturbing incident, a woman was found dead Monday at her residence in CDA area here.

The woman has been identified as Dr Ananya Chakraborty. She was living alone in a rented house in CDA Sector-9.

Dr Ananya Chakraborty was working as an Associate Professor at the National Law University, Odisha (NLUO). Initial investigation says that she is a native of West Bengal.

Markat Nagar Police has recovered her body and sent to SCB Medical College & Hospital for post-mortem.

The cause of Ananya Chakraborty's death is not clear. Police, however, is suspecting it as a case of suicide.

More details are awaited as further investigation is underway.
