Uttar Pradesh: Goods Train Derail In Mathura

Mathura, Sept 19: Twenty-five wagons of a goods train on Wednesday derailed in Mathura, said officials.

Officers from the railway department along with the city police reached the spot upon receiving the information.

The derailment has blocked three rail lines, and further information about the situation is being accessed by officials.

Tej Prakash Agarwal, DRM Agra Division, said, "A goods train has derailed. We got the information at around 8.12 PM. 25 wagons of the train have derailed...We are assessing the situation here...Up, down, and third-line traffic has been affected. Traffic on the fourth line is moving..."
