CM Majhi, Union Minister Pradhan Celebrate Nuakhai In Sambalpur

Sambalpur, Sept 8: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan offered prayers to Maa Samaleswari and relished Nabanna Prasad on the occasion of Nuakhai, a mass festival of western Odisha, here on Sunday.  

CM Majhi, Union Minister Pradhan, Odisha Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari, Panchayati Raj Minister Rabi Naik, Sambalpur MLA Jayanarayan Mishra sat together and relished Nabanna Prasad on the occasion. 

"It is a festival of masses celebrated in western Odisha. I am fortunate to visit the Sameleswari Temple and relish Nuakhai after becoing Chief Minister of the State. I prayed to Maa Samaleswari for the well-being of the people of western Odisha and the entire State," said the Chief Minister. 

Similarly, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan expressed happiness to participate in the Nuakhai festival. 

"May Maa Samalei bring a year of happiness and prosperity to the people of western Odisha and the entire State. I also pray Lord Jagannath shower blessings on all.
