High-speed networks have expanded and education, skill development and digital infrastructure sectors have been strengthened," claimed Pradhan.

He called upon all to make efforts to take Sambalpur to new heights by utilising this opportunity. He called upon all to take collective responsibility to improve communication, economy, education, and skill development and maintain Sambalpur's dignity and integrity.

On the occasion, Pradhan said the Narendra Modi government has given priority on according respect and tributes to tribals who, despite doing heroic deeds and contributing a lot in building the nation, have remained unilluminated. For the first time, the birthday of Birsa Munda was declared "Janjatiya Gourav Divas".

The Union Minister further said the youth of the country is gearing up for the upcoming Olympics as athletes are being promoted through the Khelo India programme in the right way.

"In the coming days, Sambalpur will be a hot spot for sports. By the time of 2036 Olympics, we all need to work together to ensure that children from this region, especially tribals and backward castes, can play in the Olympics and win medals," noted Pradhan.
