Bhubaneswar, Sept 6: Taking a cue from Mamata Mahanta, BJD Rajya Sabha member Sujeet Kumar resigned from both the Upper House seat and prime membership of the party today.

Kumar sent his resignation letters to Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar and BJD president Naveen Patnaik. .

Rearding his decision, Kumar said he took the decision as he was neglected by the party.
