Athagarh BDO Under Vigilance Scanner

Cuttack, Aug 7: Odisha Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday conducted simultaneous searches at eight places associated with Pradeep Kumar Sahu, Block Development Officer (BDO) of Athagarh in Cuttack district, on charges of amassing property disproportionate to his known sources of income.

The officials of the anti-corruption agency conducted simultaneous searches at eight places including Sahu's property in Bhubaneswar, Khordha, Nayagarh and Athagarh in Cuttack.

The searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance led by six DSPs, six Inspectors, 10 ASIs and other staff on the strength of Search Warrants issued by Special Judge Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.

Searches were in progress when the report was filed.
