Sambalpur, Sept 2: A final-year Mechanical Engineering student at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) in Sambalpur was found dead under mysterious circumstance under the PC Bridge here on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Anjaneya Dash, a native of Jajpur district. Dash was residing at the university’s Pulastya Hostel.
According to reports, the incident came to fore after some locals spotted Dash in a pool of blood.
On being informed, police rushed to the scene and shifted to Burla Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
