Bhubaneswar, Feb 9: Senior IAS officer and Additional Chief Secretary of the Housing and Urban Development Department, Usha Padhee on Monday assumed additional charge as Chairperson of the Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO), Odisha, officials said.

Soon after taking charge, Padhee convened a meeting with senior officials and staff of IDCO to review ongoing projects and set priorities for strengthening Odisha’s industrial infrastructure. She emphasized timely execution, transparency, inter-departmental coordination, and investor facilitation as key focus areas.

growth through land development and infrastructure creation, Padhee emphasized
the need for well-planned industrial townships equipped with modern civic
amenities, transport facilities, and sustainable infrastructure. She noted that
such initiatives would ensure balanced and inclusive development across the
state.
