Bhubaneswar, Nov 20: Union Education Minister Dharmendra
Pradhan is set to visit Dhamnagar in Odisha this Saturday, where he will
participate in a series of events and lay the foundation stones for several
developmental projects.
The announcement was made by the Gohiratikiri Development Council during a
press briefing on Thursday.
Historic Site Visit
Minister Pradhan will arrive in Dhamnagar of Bhadrak district in the morning and proceed to the historic and culturally significant site of Gohiratikiri. As part of his itinerary, he will pay floral tributes at the statue of Mukundadeva, the last independent king of Odisha, and later visit the nearby monastery.
Unity March for Patel’s 150th Birth Anniversary
The Union Minister will also join the Ekta Padyatra (Unity March) organized to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, India’s first Home Minister and a towering freedom fighter known as the “Iron Man of India.” The march is expected to draw wide participation, symbolizing unity and respect for Patel’s legacy.
