Bhubaneswar, Sept 12: The Odisha government on Friday effected a major reshuffle among senior-level IAS officers, officials said.
According to a notification issued by the state General Administration and Public Grievances (GA-PG) department in this regard, Vijay Amruta Kulange (IAS, RR-2013), currently serving as Managing Director of OMFED, has been appointed as Director, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Odisha, Cuttack.
Kulange will continue to hold his existing position at OMFED, Bhubaneswar, indicating the government’s confidence in his dual-role capabilities.
Premjit Nayak (IAS, SCS-2014), previously Director of AYUSH, has been elevated to Additional Secretary in the ST & SC Development, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare Department, a role that demands nuanced policy execution and inclusive development.

✨In a reciprocal move, Anjana Panda (IAS, SCS-2015), who was serving as Additional Secretary in the Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Department, has now taken over as Director, AYUSH, Bhubaneswar. Her experience in welfare schemes is expected to bring renewed focus to traditional healthcare systems.
Meanwhile, P. Anvesha Reddy (IAS, RR-2017), Excise Commissioner, Odisha, Cuttack, has been allowed to retain additional charge as Inspector General of Registration, Odisha, Cuttack. This dual responsibility underscores the trust placed in her administrative acumen.
