Bhubaneswar, Sep 5: Eminent Odia music director Abhijit Majumdar has been admitted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar in a critical condition after slipping into a coma.
According to the official medical bulletin released by the hospital, Majumdar is currently suffering from pneumonia and has been placed on ventilator support in the Medical ICU.
Doctors at AIIMS confirmed that his health condition remains unstable, with multiple comorbidities including hypertension, hypothyroidism, and chronic liver disease complicating his recovery.
Majumdar was initially undergoing treatment at a private medical facility in Cuttack. However, he was shifted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar after his health condition deteriorated.
