Jagatsinghpur, Jul 22: Taking action into the sexual assault of a girl in Chandagada area on Monday night, police on Tuesday formed three teams and launched a manhunt to nab the miscreants.

According to latest information, one suspect has been nabbed from Niali area of Cuttack district.

Authorities believe the arrest may be a key development in identifying and tracking down the remaining culprits.

Reportedly, the suspect has been taken into custody and is being interrogated regarding the incident.

It is worth mentioning, the victim, who was en route to her friend’s birthday party, was reportedly gang-raped midway in Chandagada area under Sadar PS late last night.
