Argus News - Unidentified Body Found Floating In Canal, Probe Underway

Berhampur, Oct 30: The body of an unidentified person was found floating in canal near Mayapuri, under the jurisdiction of Goshani Nuagaon Police Station.

According to reports, the matter came to light after some locals spotted the body and alerted the matter to police.

Upon being informed, Police personnel from Goshani Nuagaon PS promptly arrived at the scene and retrieved the body.

Initial observations suggest the body had been in the water for several hours, but the exact time and cause of death are yet to be determined.

The identity of the deceased remains unknown, and police have launched an investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the death. Efforts are underway to identify the individual and determine whether foul play was involved.
