Three newly appointed Rajya Sabha members from Odisha Ashwini Vaishnaw, Debasish Samantray, and Subhasish Khuntia took oath today.
Bhubaneswar, Apr 4: Three newly elected Rajya Sabha members from Odisha- Ashwini Vaishnaw, Debasish Samantray, and Subhasish Khuntia took oath today.
Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar on Thursday administered oath to the three newly elected members of the Upper House of Parliament.
Earlier on Feb 14, Odisha's main opposition party BJP declared Ashwini Vaishnaw as the candidate for the Rajya Sabha seat.
Notedly, Vaishnaw won the Rajya Sabha seat in 2019 and his term ended on April 3, 2024.
