Bhubaneswar, Apr 4: Normal life continues to be affected due to soaring temperatures in Odisha and there will be no relief as mercury is very likely to increase by two to three degrees Celsius in the next three days.
According to the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, six cities int he State sizzled with temperatures above 41 degree Celsius yesterday. Boudh recorded the highest temperature at 41.8 degrees Celsius.
Among other places, Malkangiri recorded 41.6 degrees Celsius, Titilagarh 41.5 degree, Bolangir 41.5, Angul 41.3 degree and Bhawanipatna recorded 41 degree Celsius. Places recorded above 40 degree Celsius include Jharsuguda, 40.8 degree Celsius, Nayagarh 40.6 degree Celsius, Sambalpur 40.4 degree Celsius and Talcher 40.4 degree Celsius.
