The victim was 35 year old Vijayalakshmi, whose body was recovered from her bedroom. As per initial investigation by police, she had a major quarrel with her tailor husband over the blouse he had stitched for her. She was staying at Golanaka Thirumala Nagar at Amberpet area in Hyderabad along with her husband and two school going children.
Tailor husband:
Srinivas was involved in door to door marketing of saris and blouse. As a tailor by profession he was stitching up blouses at home. As per reports, recently he had stitched up a blouse for his wife. But his wife did not like the fitting and design of the new blouse stitched for her. It led to a major altercation between the couple yesterday.
As per reports, Vijayalakshmi wanted her husband to re-stitch the blouse. Srinivas did not agree to it. In anger, he removed the stitches of the blouse and gave to his wife, asking her to stitch it to her liking. This irked Vijayalakshmi, who locked herself in their bedroom.
Torn relations:
After returning from school, the children found her locked within the room. She did not open the door. Receiving information, Srinivas rushed home and used force to open the bedroom door. To the surprise of all, Vijaylakshmi was found hanging dead inside the room.
A case regarding this has been registered at Amberpet police station. During interrogation, Srinivas said, in the past his wife, when upset had locked herself in bedroom like this when she was upset. So he left her alone to calm down. The deceased has not left any suicide note. So, a cse of suspicious death has been booked.
