Bhubaneswar, Sep 29: Commissionerate Police on Thursday arrested Alok Bhol alias Tunguru Bhol for allegedly sexually assaulting a 29-year-old woman in a house on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.
As per reports, 21-year-old Tunguru was arrested after the woman lodged an FIR at Bharatpur police station alleging that she was sexually assaulted by Tunguru at a house in Phuleswari slum in the State Capital.
The victim also alleged that the accused had abused her in obscene language and assaulted her on another day.
Notably, the alleged love story between Tunguru and the victim hit the headline recently and went viral on social media.
Los Angeles, Sept 25: A centuries old Japanese artefact was stolen from Barakat Art Gallery in Beveryly Grove in Los Angeles at 3:45 am on September 18. Strangely the heist was carried out by a lone thief. The gallery owner and officials expressed their shock as the weight of the bronze statue was a whopping 114kilograms.
This heist was captured on CCTV and it was observed that the thief allegedly broke into the entrance through a driveway gate. He then used a dolly to move the 114kg statue to a truck. The entire robbery took 25 minutes.
The stolen object belongs to the Japanese Edo period (1603-1867). The statue is a four feet tall Buddha with a halo, seated with crossed legs in Lotus position (Padmashana) with his hands in the 'Vajra Mudra'.
In this Mudra, the index finger of left hand is clasped by five fingers of right; also known as the 'six elements mudra' or 'fist of wisdom' mudra. It symbolises unity or five worldly elements (earth, water, fire, air and metal) with spiritual consciousness, read the statue's description in the gallery's website.

The artefact was made specifically to be the central sculpture of a temple. From the inscriptions on the sculpture it is likely that this idol was once placed in the Yudo-no-San Temple.

New Delhi, Sept 25: Elon Musk on Monday showcased the Tesla humanoid robot called 'Optimus' who greeted his followers with a 'Namaste', while performing a couple of Yoga postures comfortably.
Showcased for the first time during 'Tesla AI Day' 2022 in October, Optimus was seen performing simple tasks this time in a video posted by the X owner.
Optimus is now capable of self-calibrating its arms and legs.
Using only vision and joint position encoders, the robot can precisely locate its limbs in space
It learns its tasks smoothly, like sorting and unsorting coloured-blocks, and its neural net runs entirely on-board, using only vision.
After a long day at work for the humanoid robot, "it is time to stretch", ending with a Namaste, showed the video.
The robot has the same artificial intelligence (AI) software and sensors present in Tesla's advanced driver assistance system called 'Autopilot' and it may cost around $20,000.
The humanoid robot is made for mass production in the "millions" of units.
The robot contains a 2.3 kilowatt per hour battery pack which is "perfect for about a full day's worth of work", runs on a Tesla chip, and has Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity, reports The Verge.
The human-like hands are a "Biologically Inspired Design" that will make the robot suitable for picking up objects of various shapes and sizes at factories and other facilities.

"It'll be a fundamental transformation for civilisation as we know it," Musk had said at the AI Day event.
He said the robot could be priced "probably less than $20,000", as his team moved a non-walking prototype offstage behind him.
It will be able to carry a 20-pound bag, use tools and have a precision grip for small robots.
It is also equipped with wireless connectivity as well as audio support and hardware level security features. (IANS)

Patna, Sep 25: At least 11 students were injured after a school van overturned and fell in a pit in Bagaha city in Bihar’s West Champaran district on Monday.
The van belonged to the JP Public School Ram Nagar. Three of the students suffered critical injuries.
The victims were admitted to Ram Nagar government hospital, and health department and police officials were camping at the hospital.

The incident occurred when the steering wheel of the van failed and the driver lost control over the vehicle. It has overturned into the roadside pit. The locals immediately conducted the rescue operation and saved the lives of students. They took them to the government hospital.
The police said that the van owner had not taken the fitness certificate from the transport department and was using it for the transportation of students.
An inquiry has been initiated.
