Rayagada, Sept 27: A total of 58,24,950 rupees were found in the nine donation boxes of Maa Majhighariani Temple in Rayagada during the counting of the donations on Wednesday.
In addition, 39 grams of gold and 1.65 kg of silver ornaments and foreign currencies were also found as donations.
Security has been tightened in the temple for the counting of the donations. As many as 120 members of some religious organizations helped in counting the donation money.
Worth mentioning, Maa Majhighariani temple is famous in southern Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. The temple witnesses the footfall of devotees from Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh and the undivided Koraput district.
On Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays large number of devotees come to the temple to offer prayers to the Goddess. The temple is famous for Chaitra-Parba, which falls in March-April of every year.

Hyderabad, Sept 27: The Department of School Education of the Telangana State government declared the results of the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) today.

You may save the results and take out a printout for further reference.
Notably, the answer key of the examination was released earlier this month. A window was given, in which candidates were asked to raise objections. The examiantion was held on September 15.

In Odisha, the price of yellow metal 22K (10 grams) traded at Rs 55,900 while the price of 20K gold (10 grams) stood at Rs 50,700.
Meanwhile, the price of 18K gold (10 grams) stood at Rs 45,900. The price of 14K gold (10 grams) stood at Rs 36,100.
In Cuttack, the GST 995 yellow metal traded at Rs 6,040 per gram and the ready 995 gold prices stood at Rs 5,980 per gram.
The price of silver metal also witnessed an decrease today. The price of LRS silver stood at Rs 73,500 per kg and the price of 9999 silver stood at Rs 73,400.
It may be noted that the gold price can vary as per the MCX and dealer to dealer.
