In a series of Tweets, Pradhan said, “Congratulations to Samuni Nayak and Madhusmita Jena, two women health workers from Balasore district of Odisha, who received Best Women Covid-19 Vaccinators award from Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on the occasion of International Women's Day.”
“The work of many health workers, such as Samuni and Madhusmita, is commendable and inspiring in accelerating the largest vaccination campaign in the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he added saying that such respect for the sacrifices and hard work of the Covid warriors at the national level will encourage many to move forward.

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya felicitated as many as 72 Best Women Covid-19 Vaccinators from across the country on the occasion of International Women’s Day at National Institute of Health and Family Welfare in New Delhi yesterday.
The event was organized to celebrate and recognize the untiring efforts in successful implementation of India’s Covid-19 Vaccination Programme.
