The refund of the booked ‘pindis’ or cottage and FRhs will be made within 10 working days, informed the NZP authorities. “ The picnic will remain closed for the visitors from January 1 to 31 in State Botanical Garden. However, entry in State Botanical Garden will be allowed to visitors after getting offline or online tickets, and visitors are requested to follow COVID-appropriate behaviours. The refund of already booked Pindis/ Cottage and FRHs will be made within 10 working days,” stated an official order of NZP.
Earlier, the NZP authorities had closed the zoo from December 30 to January 3 as a precautionary measure against the spread of the new Covid variant ‘Omicron’. The authorities also closed the State Botanical Garden for the visitors till January 3.
The Botanical Garden was established in the year 1963 and was under the management of the Horticulture Department. The management of the State Botanical Garden was transferred to Nandankanan on 1st August 2006. One would be definitely impressed by nature’s symphony and the exquisite touch of the wilderness here.
