She was however rescued safely by police.
The sequence of protests resorted to by the woman set aback police officials, reporters, and locals as well.
While the woman climbed a tree and sat on a branch at a high point, police went to climb the tree to calm her and bring her down. After coming to the ground, she ran hither and thither like a child. She, however, expressed anguish that she was heckled by police instead of getting justice.
“Police dragged my dress and made me half-naked in the public,” the woman alleged and wanted to know “Why did you stop me from narrating plights before the media.”
She alleged that her brother was murdered while she was studying in Class IX and she was tied to a pole by in-laws but she has not gotten justice yet.
"Instead of giving me justice, police are arresting me. Without any reason, I spent one month and seven days in jail," said in a chocked voice.
She too alleged that police told her that her death does not matter to the Government but she should commit suicide outside the area (Naveen Nivas).
When asked why she climbed the tree, the woman expressed her anguish, “Why I will not get justice and if I am wrong as I am fighting for justice for the last 23 years?”
