“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been serving people of the country for the last eight years. He has been providing huge amonts for pucca houses, latrines, cooking gas, drinking water and Re 1-a-kg rice. Besides, he has been providing free food to the poor and money to the farmers’ bank accounts. But money being sent to Odisha by PM Modi is being diverted,” alleged Pradhan.
The Union Minister was addressing a gathering at Jujumara under the Rairakhole area in Sambalpur district on the occasion of successful completion of eight years of the Modi Government at the Centre.
He expressed unhappiness saying that youths are not getting job even after completion of 22 years of Naveen Patnaik Government. File doesn’t move in Government offices without a bribe. Poor people have not got anything from the State Government, he alleged.
The Union Minister said the Odisha Government is not implementing the Aayushman Bharat Yojana by being jealous of rising popularity of Prime Minister Modi.
Thanking people for coming to the meeting venue in a very large number, Pradhan assured that the Gariba Kalya Yojana (Programmes for welfare of poor people) of the Modi Government will be made a mass movement in the country. All welfare programmes will be made available at door steps and people shedding crocodile tears for the last 22 years will be exposed.
He also assured all efforts for making high-speed internet available and empowering farmers, weavers and youths in the Sambalpur area.
On the occasion, he paid rich tributes to legendary freedom fighters Surendra Sai and Madho Singh, Swabhabkabi Gangadhar Meher and Santha Kabi Bhima Bhoi. He hailed Ishak Munda for his technological invention that made him self-reliance.
