During the Zero Hour, the LoP said that getting investment to a state is a reflection of the law-and-order situation in the State. However, the White Paper released by the Government has stated that there was a rise in the crime graph.
“The CM said that there is now a law and order situation in the State. Does the White Paper not reflect the deteriorating law and order situation in the State? Who is using police as a political tool?” Mishra wanted to know.
On the other hand, Congress also slammed CM over the Naba Das murder case. Congress Legislature Party (CLP) Leader Narasingha Mishra said, “The CM said that Opposition leaders are trying to declare Gopal Das as a mental patient. But, the press release issued by the Crime Branch on February 20, mentioned that Gopal has a long history of mental disorders. His wife and a doctor also stated that Gopal has a mental illness.”
