As per the IMD’s midday bulletin, thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sonepur, Boudh, Nuapada, Balangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nawarangpur, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Gajapati, Ganjam, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Balasore till 8.30 am of Tuesday.
Yellow weather warning has been issued for these 16 districts during the period.
Besides, the weathermen also forecast light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at several places including the aforesaid 16 districts of the State during next 24 hours.
Today, the highest maximum temperature of 36.0˚C was recorded at Malkangiri and the lowest minimum temperature of 21.0°C was recorded at Nayagarh and Boudh districts in the State, the bulletin added.
