While 4,29,212 beneficiaries have got the first dose of vaccine, 53,401 from among them have received the second dose, revealed the data.
It may be noted that doses of Covishield made by the Serum Institute of India and Covaxi made by Bharat Biotech are being administered in the country. In Odisha, Covishield is being administered to FCWs and FLWs in all districts while Covaxin is being given to beneficiaries in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation area only.
As per the Health Ministry data, a total of 1,01,88,007 vaccine doses have been administered to beneficiaries through 2,11,462 sessions across the country. The beneficiaries include 62,60,242 HCWs (1st dose), 6,10,899 HCWs (2nd dose) and 33,16,866 FLWs (1st dose).
Odisha stands ninth among States in the list of Covid vaccination Achievement. UP stands first with over 10 lakh doses, followed by Maharashtra and Gujarat (each over 8 lakh), Rajasthan (over 7 lakh), Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal (each over 7 lakh) and Karnataka and Bihar (Each over 5.40 lakh doses).
