According to the data furnished by the department in its Twitter account, the highest number of 37 Covid patients recovered in Sundargarh district, followed by 22 in Jharsuguda, 18 in Anugul, 16 in Sambalpur, 15 in Puri, 14 in Cuttack, 12 in Khordha, nine each in Baleswar, Jajapur and Nuapada, eight each in Bargarh, Bolangir and Nayagrah, five in Mayurbhanj, three each in Boudh and Keonjhar, two each in Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Gajapati, Ganjam and Kendrapara and one each recovered in Jagatsinghpur, Kalahandi, Koraput and Sonepur districts.
Besides, two recoveries were reported from the State pool.
Notably, the State witnessed no death due to Covid infection during the last 24 hours and thus, the number of Covid deaths remained 1,903 as before.
Similarly, the State’s Covid positive tally rose to 3,34,020 after 154 new positive cases were detected in the last 24 hours. Out of 154 new cases, 89 were detected from among quarantined persons and the rest 65 detected as local contacts.
