The State reported 269 new Covid-19 cases on Friday and 328 new cases on the previous day.
Out of 254 fresh cases in the State, 149 cases have been reported from quarantined people, 105 are local contact cases.
Khordha district reported the maximum number of fresh cases at 55, followed by Sundargarh at 30, Cuttack at 27, Sambalpur at 17 and Nabarangpur at 15.
As many as 11 fresh cases were reported from the State pool.
With this, the Covid-19 tally of the State has increased to 13,29,726. So far, a total of 13,18,798 people of the State have been recovered from Covid-19.
“The active cases of the State now stand at 1,691 ,” the Department said.
