Those officials who were slapped with notices include two Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officers, one District Sub-Registrar and one former Chief District Veterinary Officer (CDVO).
As per the official sources, action was initiated against Janakinath Mishra, Angul Deputy Collector for facing two corruption cases and nine official proceedings.
Similarly, Akul Mallik, Tehsildar of Nuagaon in Gajapati district was served with a Compulsory Retirement notice for remaining involved in one corruption case and two department proceedings.
Dhenkanal Sub-Registrar Lalatendu Satapathy faced music as his name surfaced in two corruption cases over which two disciplinary proceedings were ordered later and pending.
Trilochan Dhal was the fourth one who faced government action over graft charges. Dhal, the former CDVO of Nuapada found involved in one corruption case.
Worth mentioning, in the pursuit of a graft-free bureaucracy the Odisha Government has given 122 of its tainted officials on Compulsory Retirement so far.
