Odisha Police DG Abhay has been allowed to retire from service with effect from December 31, 2021, by the State Government.
Bhubaneswar, Nov 10: Odisha Police DG Abhay has been allowed to retire from Government service with effect from December 31, 2021, by the State Government on completion of his tenure, according to a notification issued by the Home Department, Government of Odisha on Wednesday.
“Shri Abhay, IPS, Director General of Police, Odisha is allowed to retire from Government Service w.e.f 31.12.2021 A.N. on completion of his tenure as Head of Police Force (HoPF)," read the notification.
Abhay, a 1986-batch Odisha cadre IPS officer, was appointed as the DGP of Odisha in November 2019.
