School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash said the Government has not taken any decision regarding reopening of schools from Class I to VIII students.
“Lockdowns and shutdowns have already returned in States like Maharashtra and Gujarat. Schools are already running for students from Class IX to XII. Discussions are being held regarding reopening of schools for Classes I to VIII. We have not taken any in-principle decision for reopening of schools,” said Dash.
