The Prime Minister today inaugurated slew of oil, gas and road infrastructure projects worth around Rs 4700 crore in West Bengal.
Pm Modi inaugurated the 347-km Dobhi-Durgapur stretch of the Jagdishpur-Haldia natural gas pipeline. The stretch built at a cost of Rs 2,443 crore will help supply gas to industries, homes, and vehicles in several districts in West Bengal and Jharkhand.
The Prime Minister also inaugurated an LPG import terminal built by Bharat Petroleum in Haldia at a cost of Rs 1100 crore. The terminal will help cater to the growing cooking gas demand from states in the east and north-east part of the country, PM Modi said.
He also inaugurated NHAI’s four lane ROB cum flyover at Ranichak and laid the foundation of the second catalytic dewaxing unit at the Haldia Refinery of Indian Oil.
