As per the report, the victim namely Jaladhar Sahu, a retired school teacher of Kosala village was en-route to his home after withdrawing Rs 2.5 lakh from State Bank of India Chhendipada branch in the afternoon when the loot took place.
Reports say, Sahu had been to a roadside shop near Kosala Bazaar to purchase some items when KTM-borne miscreants who were following him from the bank broke his parked bike’s dickey and decamped with cash along with other vital documents.
Chhendipada Police have launched an investigation based on the complaint filed by the victim in connection with the case.
