According to the information, the Maoist hideout was busted during an intensive search and area domination operation jointly conducted by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and district police. Acting on a reliable source regarding the movement of the red rebels, a combing operation was carried out.
The recovered materials could have been used by the Maoists in subversive activities. According to police sources, the seized articles were intended to make weapons so that civilians and security forces can be targeted by them.
A gun, Maoist literature, banners, posters, electric wires and other items have been seized, said a senior officer.
